String, Cotton and Wool Tribal

Here, I practiced creating a flawless skin base and applied cotton string and aquacolour on top. The linear design is one I created earlier when studying the work of hundertwasser and other aboriginal design. If I was to do this makeup again I would use a warmer palette, maybe reds and oranges to create a look that was more tribal and less under the sea. As a positive I really like how fine the cotton is on the clear skin but for catwalk I will need a bolder element so spectators can see the makeup from a distance, either this or maybe more work could go into the hair, so models coming down the runway look striking from afar.
