Big statements - what do the horns represent? what are they meant to convey? is this a sign of achievement or staus or is this just the fashion? a sense of identity? I like the scale of the horns and how items are bound with vines to connect them to one another. The idea of making your own tribal accessories - think like you belong in a tribe. Be proud to wear the beads and bones. A scarf with tassles patterned with checks, the mix of pattern and accessories to make a look more interesting. Very natural in colouring - earthy rawness to the image. Also the facial markings in white on dark skin is something I had not yet thought about. Maybe I could combine these ideas with the thinking of Orlan and her body implants. The ideas of getting under the skin as well as putting things onto it. Wearing/ thinking/ being your tribe inside and out, could create a striking final image. Maybe I could start looking into the use of prosthetics to achieve this look.
