Facial Tattoo/ Makeup Designs!

Here I wanted to experiment with some makeup designs, drawing onto faces and bodies gathered from magazines I have. I have taken inspiration from Aboriginal drawing and painting and their linear qualities but also the work of Hundertwasser. I particularly like the above design (design 1) and designs 6 and 8 as I feel these are most successful and will have a bigger impact as a final image. I'm also drawn to designs 3 and 4 as they use the neck, an area of the body many find alluring. I thought about painting on the neck with reference to Maori tribes and other tribes using facial tattoos to make themselves alluring and appealing for future partners or otherwise.
